The Grilled Cheese Wagon is very flexible in its set-up configurations. We can provide services
for a one day event to a week long event. We can be 100% self sufficient with our own power and water, or use shore
power and water where available.
Our speciality is being a full menu food and drink vendor, and
selling handmade wares and music supplies.
We work hard to provide services for as many hours
as possible. We want to sell food from breakfast to late-night.
Power
Requirements: The Grilled Cheese Wagon can supply all its own power with a Super Quiet Honda generator.
If generator use is not allowed, or if shore power is available, one 30 amp RV style plug is best. We can get by with
a standard 15 amp outlet as well. We carry a lot of cords and adapters, so we can work with what is available.
We use a freezer, refrigerator, 3 coffee urns, and some lighting.
Water Requirements:
The Grilled Cheese wagon has 40 gallons of fresh water on board. We carry hoses and water containers for
multi day events. If a spigot is within 100 ft we can refill our water tank when needed.
The set-up diagrams below are provided to show how much space we need.
Any of the configurations
can be used for multi day events, but we prefer to use #1 for multi day events.
The length of the trailer is 22ft including
tongue.
Set-Up #1
Our Multi Day Set-Up needs 22 feet of frontage
and is betweeen 22' and 38' deep depending on the location of the truck and tent. With this set-up sometimes
we need to arrive early so we can get the trailer in position and unhook the truck. This allows another vendor
to set-up closer to the trailer tongue.
We prefer to camp close to the truck and trailer for a multi-day
event. The truck can be moved to another location if space is an issue.
We set-up the kitchen under
one canopy and sell handmade wares out of the other. The trailer is used for refrigeration and dishwashing.
If the event has restrictions on selling food and crafts from the same booth, we are willing to work with the venue.
Depending on the fees, we can pay food vendor fees and craft vendor fees. If it is not possible to sell handmade wares
and food, we will just sell food.

Set-Up #4
This set-up uses 22ft of frontage and is 22'-38' deep depending
on the location of the truck. This configuration allows us to either back into or pull through the vending area.
Then we can unhook the truck and park it a suitable location. The cooking is done inside the trailer, while we take
orders under the canopy. We prefer to sell handmade wares and music supplies from the canopy as well.
